Sikles MTB Trail
About This Tour
Sikles is one of the Annapurna region’s hidden gems for mountain biking a route that stays well off the tourist trail while delivering some of the richest Gurung village culture in the area, alongside genuine Himalayan views of Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal and the surrounding ranges. Sikles itself is one of the largest Gurung settlements in Nepal, and the ride there passes through smaller villages, terraced hillsides and dense forest that rarely see foreign visitors.
The route climbs from the Pokhara valley floor into the hills via Ghalegaun and Parche, with a stop at the natural hot spring in Kharpani along the way a welcome reward after a day of climbing. Trail surfaces range from farm tracks and jeep roads to genuine forested singletrack, making this a satisfying multi-day ride for intermediate riders who want more remote terrain and cultural depth than the shorter Pokhara-based rides offer.
